Hello! Welcome to The Internet, a phenomenon created by human beings. We will all be writing something on this blog, including myself. I feel it is important to introduce myself before going any further in the blog. My name is Mike and I am a 22 year old male from Florida who likes sports and technology! In the past I have been a gamer for ten years and built computers for 10 years. In my spare time, I do some streaming on twitch with other people from all over the world who enjoy playing video games together-I'm currently ranked #30 in the US and #36 in EU for Tempest at their peak hours: 3pm to 6pm PST. I also love sports and follow the Florida Gators, Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets. I'm really into technology and try to keep up with the latest gadgets and news-I am currently working towards my Associates in Computer Science. I can be found on Twitter as @thesportsdude. Recently, my computer has been acting very strange... It's been crashing and glitching in some weird ways. I think it's either time for a new computer or just some Windows updates. On June 10th, 2016, I finished my Associates of Science Degree in Computer Science at Daytona State College. It was quite a task but I got it done in three years. To celebrate with myself (and many of my friends) we went to Universal Studios in Orlando Florida! The theme parks were amazing and I'm very glad we made an event out of it... because I definitely do not want to go to a theme park for a while. I love the Florida Gators and I was able to attend four games for the season in 2015-2016! Every game was an awesome experience and I got to see Tim Tebow make his return to The Swamp, play against Ole Miss in The Swamp, and travel up north to the cold state of Michigan!
In February 2016 , I decided it was time to get serious about streaming. I wanted a chance at being able to stream video games on a regular basis. To get started, I sold a bunch of my old stuff that was just sitting around my house collecting dust.. I was able to get enough money to start this new venture. Currently, I do not have a regular schedule, but I am looking to keep streaming every Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm to 6pm EST on my Twitch channel at: Twitch.tv/the_sports_dude I have been streaming online since February of 2016! I hope you guys enjoy my stream and watch me while I play some of the latest games such as Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, Rocket League and more!
